My Story
Author. Speaker. Mental Health Therapist. Life Coach.
Hello I’m Rochelle Belle. I was born and raised in San Diego, the daughter of a barber who gives the best cuts in Jackson, Mississippi, and a truly amazing mother who went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2022, after a courageous battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Her love, strength, and encouragement still fuel everything I do.
I’m on a God-purposed mission to empower, inspire, and ignite others to live their lives with Godfidence—confidence rooted in God’s purpose. My journey has taken me from TV news reporting to becoming a Christian life coach and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, and I’ve had the incredible honor of serving others for over 10 years in mental health, ministry, and missions.
Through my work as a mental health coach, international missionary in Guatemala and Kenya, author, and motivational speaker, I’ve been able to touch lives both nationally and internationally. I’ve also started nonprofits to feed the homeless in Downtown Los Angeles and created a fundraiser called “Mama’s Bears” in memory of my beautiful mother—to send teddy bears to children in Kenya during Christmas.
Today, I offer Christian life coaching sessions for individuals, groups, and corporations, blending faith-based wisdom with therapeutic techniques.
I help people discover their God-given gifts, build emotional resilience, and become the best version of themselves—personally, professionally, and spiritually.
I’m also the author of Oliver the Dog’s 30 Small Bits of Wisdom—a book for adolescents and adults that shares life lessons for a happier, more fulfilling life with humor, all from a dog’s point of view. The book includes a built-in workbook section designed to encourage healing, self-love, confidence, and personal growth.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Whittier College and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University. But beyond the titles, my greatest joy is being called “Auntie” by my nieces and nephews, and being a mentor to young people across the country.
